SUPPORTING FIRST RESPONDERS & VETERANS

I’m a veteran, and I understand the sacrifices our veterans and first responders make because I’ve lived it. These men and women put themselves in harm’s way so the rest of us can live our lives in peace. Law enforcement, firefighters, paramedics, linemen, and medical professionals are the backbone of our communities, especially here in Alabama where storms and emergencies are a part of life. In Montgomery, I will always stand up for those who serve and make sure their voices are heard.

DEFENDING OUR SECOND AMENDMENT RIGHTS

I believe the right to defend yourself and your family is a God-given right. In today’s world, danger doesn’t always come with a warning. It could be down the street, next door, or breaking into your home. As long as I have a say, law-abiding Alabamians will not have their Second Amendment rights taken away or chipped at piece by piece.

PROTECTING UNBORN LIFE

I was proud to see Roe v. Wade overturned, but I also understand that the work didn’t end there. I believe life begins at conception and that a child is a child from that moment forward. Every kid deserves a chance at life. While situations involving rape and incest are extremely difficult and circumstantial, I won't apologize for protecting life and standing up for those who cannot speak for themselves.

STANDING UP FOR ALABAMA VALUES

Alabama is a red state, and we need to act like it. Too often, we find ourselves debating issues that should never have gained traction here in the first place. Instead of focusing on Washington, D.C. style politics, we should be talking about tax cuts, jobs, and protecting our values. Boys competing in girls’ sports should not be a discussion in Alabama because we should never allow this to happen. To be one of the most conservative states in the nation, I want us to start leading by example and set the standard for upholding conservative principles in state law.

SUPPORTING OUR FARMING COMMUNITY

I’m a farmer, and I know firsthand that agriculture is the backbone of Alabama. Food doesn’t come from a store shelf, it comes from our farms. Farmers were the first caretakers of the land we call home, and we take that responsibility seriously. Alabama agriculture supports families, jobs, and entire communities. In Montgomery, I will always support policies that protect farmers, farmland, and our ability to feed ourselves without relying on other countries.

INVESTING IN LOCAL INFRASTRUCTURE

Infrastructure isn’t always pretty, but it’s one of the most important responsibilities of government. Roads, bridges, waterways, and broadband all matter, especially in rural areas like District 22. I believe we can and should bring money back home to invest in projects that make our communities safer, stronger, and better connected.

CUTTING TAXES & WASTEFUL SPENDING

Life is expensive enough without the government wasting your tax dollars. I believe Montgomery needs to take a hard look at how money is being spent and cut waste wherever possible. If we can run the government more efficiently and reduce the burden on taxpayers, that’s a win for Alabama families. The government should work for the people, not the other way around.

STRENGTHENING OUR EDUCATION SYSTEM

Education is one of the most important investments we can make. I want to see funding and resources brought back home to District 22 so our children have every opportunity to succeed. Strong schools help keep families here and give kids a reason to stay, work, and raise their families right here in our communities.

UPHOLDING CHRISTIAN VALUES

I’m a God-fearing Christian, and I won’t apologize for it. I believe taking prayer out of schools and removing the Ten Commandments from public spaces weakened our society. I support bringing back the Pledge of Allegiance and restoring values that teach kids to respect one another and love all that God has blessed us with.

ADDRESSING MENTAL HEALTH

Mental health is an issue we should have addressed a long time ago. Too many families are affected, and the state hasn’t done enough. While mental health care is expensive, ignoring it only makes the problem worse. I believe Alabama needs to take this issue seriously and work toward solutions that help people get the care they need.

SUPPORTING SMALL BUSINESSES

As a small business owner, I understand the challenges that come with it. Small businesses create jobs and fuel our local economies. As your State Senator, I want to cut red tape, reduce unnecessary regulations, and make it easier for people to start and grow a business here in Alabama.

SECURING OUR BORDER & UPHOLDING THE LAW

There is a right way and a wrong way to come into this country. Anyone who ignores or abuses the legal processes we have in place should be held accountable. I will stand firm behind President Trump and ICE in their efforts to enforce the law and secure our borders.

A NO ON GAMBLING

I am a no on gambling. That position is simple and it’s firm. I do not believe Montgomery will ever get gambling right. Even when it’s put in front of voters, there are always strings attached and special interests involved. Gambling legislation ends up benefiting political insiders instead of families and communities. I don’t believe gambling is the right direction for Alabama.

LIMITING GOVERNMENT & PROTECTING FREEDOM

I believe the smaller the government, the better. The government should stay in its lane, protect our freedoms, and let people live their lives without unnecessary interference. When the government grows too big, everyday people pay the price.
